13 Sep 2008 |
- According to ‘Swissinfo’, the new juvenile criminal Law which was implemented in the beginning of the last years is working well. The Swiss Society for Juvenile Criminal Law (SSDPM) is satisfied after having carried out several experimentations. Dieter Hebeisen, Director of the SSDPM, acknowledges that a few modifications are likely to be made. On the one hand, he urges the legislator to subject a young to an educative action until 25 years old instead of 22 at the moment. On the other hand, he asks for custudy in case of major offense.
