Spain “One blanket lost”

‘Kunstradio’ broadcast a documentary by Meira Asher about the trafficking of Nigerian girls to Spain. The downloadable file contains the accounts of Erika, who made the arduous journey across the desert and lost her baby girl and boyfriend at sea, after which she started paying back 42,000 euros in debt to her Madam. ‘One blanket lost’, a common expression used by the traffickers, ‘mourns’ the loss of blankets in which they buried girls who died on the way.
