UK Our irrational fear of child-killers

‘The Guardian’ reports that in the UK fewer children die violent deaths than any times in recorded history. Since the mid-70’s the numbers have fallen by almost 40%, from the highest in the western world to the third lowest. The article contemplates why, despite these low numbers, is the public so concerned about the issue.
