Sweden Pressure mounts on Europe to free Swedish home-schooler
4 Feb 2011 | human rights protection systems
‘The New American’ reports of a case in which a Swedish boy was put in state custody because his parents were home-schooling him, for not receiving all of the ‘optional’ vaccines and for having a painless cavity in his baby teeth. The case caused an international uproar and several human rights NGOs filed a motion with the European Court of Human Rights. The Court has not assigned a number to the case yet, seven months after the application.
