Czech Republic Prime Minister Apologises to Victims of Coercive Sterilisation

‘ERRC’ reports on its website that the Czech Prime Minister expressed his regret over instances of coerced sterilisation that took place between 1970s and 1990. The ERRC together with other NGOs congratulated the Czech goverenment for this apology and called on it to establish an adequate compensation mechanism for the women who were sterilized.
