Albania Reciprocal relationship needed between NGOs and media

Tirana, Albania: On the 11th of September, CILPS organized the third training session with journalists of printed and electronic media. For the 20 journalists, the training was moderated by the executive director of CILPS, Mrs. Rezarta Abdiu, who presented international and national legal framework on children rights and the role of media in protecting and promoting them. The President of BKTF Coalition ‘All together against child trafficking’ talked about how to involve media in the awareness raising activities on child trafficking issues. The vice editor in chief of ‘Korrieri’ newspaper, Mrs. Aleksandra Bogdani talked about the media interest in reporting on child trafficking cases. She explained the importance of the reciprocal relationship between media, journalists and the NGOs. She also pointed out the reciprocal collaboration to increase the professionalism, and ethical reporting on children victims or at risk of trafficking.
