Switzerland Release of the second report from NGOs to the Committee on the Rights of the Child

Bern, Switzeralnd: Tdh is currently holding the presidency and coordination role of the Swiss Network for the rights of the child, which gathers together 54 active NGOs working in this field in Switzerland. The Network is organizing a press conference to take place on June 22 in Bern. The Swiss authorities have begun submitting a periodic report to the Committee on the Rights of the Child on progress made as regards implementation of the rights of the child. The official report – which has been awaited since 2007 – should finally be made available at the end of this year. The report of the Swiss Network for the rights of the child and other information relating to the topics treated in the report will be available from June 22, 11 a.m. (embargo) from the website.
