Switzerland Report on childhood and youth in Switzerland

• The Swiss National Fund for Scientific Research (FNSNF) has launched a national report about the causes of well-being and distress of Swiss children. The report “Childhood and Youth in Switzerland” shows that the social and cultural origin of children play a significant role in the children’s education, professional success and, above all, in their life’s accomplishment. In addition, the report reveals that the parent’s education style is crucial in the child’s development and that a strict education is counterproductive.
