Serbia Risk factors for childhood malnutrition in Roma settlements in Serbia

‘7th Space Interactive’ reports that a study was made among Roma children in Serbia, according to which 20% suffered from stunting, 4.3% from wasting and 8% were underweight. The study found that maternal education significantly influenced stunting, while those children who were left in the care of an older sibling were almost twice as likely to be stunted than others.
