Turkey Roma seek equality, educational and financial improvement
’Today’s Zaman’ reports that Turkish Roma, who are happy with some recent contributions of the government to ensure their rights in Turkey, seek more educational and financial improvements to better their living conditions. Speaking to Today’s Zaman at the ceremony of the International Roma Day, most of Roma complained about the persecution and discrimination they face in Turkey as well as throughout Europe.
