Romania Romania entirely observes international law on adoptions

“Financiarul” reports that the head of the Office for Adoptions made a statement that Romania observes the law on international adoptions but gave priority to national adoptions and that post-adoptions monitoring was high on their agenda. This reaction came after the European Parliament received a petition from an Italian group asking for the lifting of the ban on international adoptions.
