Romania Romania fails comply with anti-human traffic standards

The “Diplomat – Bucharest” reports the findings of the 7th TIP report about Romania, indicating the “fears that as Romania’s economy improves, it could become a destination for human traffic. Romanian children are trafficked within their own country for sexual exploitation and forced begging, while Rroma women and girls are highly vulnerable to trafficking. (…) Criminals traffic these people to Italy, Spain, Germany and other European states for commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor.”
