Spain Romanian baby girl sold for EUR 1,500 in Spain

‘Nine O’Clock News’ reports that a Spanish couple was sentenced to prison for buying a baby from a poor Romanian family living in Spain for 1500 Euro. The biological parents were also arrested but released on bail – and are now apparently back in Romania. The baby is now in Spanish state custody. The case was reported by social services monitoring the biological parents.
