Europe Seminar on the protection of unaccompanied children

‘UNHCR’ reports on its website that Save the Children organised a seminar in Brussels entitled ‘Addressing the protection gap for unaccompanied and separated children in the EU – Role of the Stockholm Programme’. The conference took place just before the EU Justice and Home Affairs Council’s meeting on September 21st which put unaccompanied children on its agenda. Save the Children, together with UNHCR, Human Rights Watch, Separated Children in Europe and UNICEF has published joint recommendations to the EU.
