Serbia Quality of education for children from marginalised groups must improve
23 Jun 2010 |
‘ISRIA’ reports that the Serbian government – with the financial support of the EU – has launched a project “Education for All” which aims at improving the access and quality of education for marginalized children – mostly coming from the Roma community. The program will introduce teaching assistants to be mediators between families and schools, while also making pre-school free and compulsory, allowing Roma children to learn Serbian language before starting school.
