Serbia Serbian Roma families facing forced eviction

‘Amnesty International’ reports that it has urged Belgrade authorities to halt plans to destroy a Roma settlement. At least 70 families are living in the Vidikovac area – many have fled after being forcibly evicted from other sites. The authorities have not offered any alternative accommodation or compensation to the families.
