UK Software Developers Tackle Child Grooming on the Net

‘Science Daily’ reports that computer scientists at Lancester Universtiy are working and testing a tool which can tell the person’s age and gender, using language analysis techniques. This would eventually help police and law enforcement agencies spot adults in chat rooms, posing as children. According to their tests 4 out of 5 children cannot tell whether they are talking to an adult or a child.
