Europe Some 3 million HIV/AIDS patients’ now have access to antiretroviral therapy

WHO/UNAIDS and UNICEF have launched the 2008 Progress report: “Towards Universal Access – Scaling up priority HIV/AIDS interventions in the health sector”. The report details the latest treatment figures and provides an overview of global progress towards priority health sector interventions.
