European Union Spanish leadership for Europe's Roma

- On the eve of the Spanish Presidency, the ‘Project Syndicate’ published the opinion of George Soros about the plight of Roma in Europe. He expressed hope that Spain that has some good experience integrating Roma into its society will champion the launch of a comprehensive European Roma strategy.
