Russia Stop human trafficking app challenge

USAID, the Demi & Ashton Foundation and NetHope launched a challenge for developers from Russia and the region to design innovative mobile applications to help stop human trafficking. Mobile apps should raise public awareness of trafficking, educate at/risk people or provide services to victims and survivors. Winners will receive cash priyes and a trip to New York, while the winning applications will be implemented bz an organisation combatting trafficking in Russia.

Thank you for taking action to stop this serious worldwide crime. The term ‘human trafficking’ does not begin to touch on the darker side of this atrocious trade. It is sickening to read how the human body is worth no more than the money it brings. As people become more desperate, the greed of the predators does also and lives are devestated.
