Europe Street children stories

The European Federation for Street Children – as part of their awareness raising activities for the 2010 European year for combating poverty and social exclusion – published a compilation of stories of street children, coming from their member organisations in Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Poland. “Beyond the specific differences of each case, most of the stories have a common theme that shows the family’s situation, the experiences of poverty and social exclusion, as well as the initial difficulties experienced in the first contact with the NGOs and their ability to accept help” describes the introduction to the publication.
