Switzerland Strong reaction against the tougher modification of asylum and foreigners legislations

Lausanne, Switzerland: Tdh’s Programs in Switzerland reacted to the new proposals b y taking part in the consultation procedures. Tdh is asking for migrating minor to be treated as a child in the first place and before being considered as foreign person. The minor should benefit from adequate measures, according to his age and his vulnerability. Tdh is also calling for the non-application of administrative detention (due to the fact that the minor is staying illegally on the Swiss territory) towards these young people. Finally, Tdh is speaking out against the automatic revocation of the residence permit of young delinquents. In any decision, the interest of the child must be taken into account.
