European Union TDHIF submits recommendations for the European Commission’s Communication on the Rights of the Child (2011-2014)

The main topics on which TDHIF contributed are: child-friendly justice (juvenile justice system and children in conflict with the law), children as immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees: the particular vulnerability of foreign unaccompanied minors, the “disappeared” foreign unaccompanied minors, children taking part in a criminal case as victims or witnesses for Court, general framework of vulnerable groups of children, violence against children, children victims and/or at risk of exploitation, violence and child trafficking, and child participation.
