It is a web page created in order to promote learning amongst field and global level practitioners. The Child Protection Working Group (CPWG) is the global level forum for coordination on child protection in humanitarian settings. The group brings together NGOs, UN agencies, academics and others under the shared objective of ensuring more predictable, accountable and effective child protection responses in emergencies.

Its website, ‘cpwg.net’ contains an introductory homepage and latest updates on the activities of the Child Protection Working Group. There is a section dedicated to Tools and Resources for child protection in emergencies practitioners. The section covers a range of key technical areas, has a search engine and provides useful links to other resouces.It also has an Advice and Support section through which live technical advice can be sought from other practitioners and recognised experts in the child protection and emergencies field. It lists upcoming and recently completed trainings and events in the child protection in emergencies sector- as well training packages and reports can be downloaded from here. Last but not least you can read about the latest updates on deployments, missions and activities of each member.
