Europe The cost of excluding the Roma minority

‘Slovak Spectator’ reports of a recent study commissioned by the Open Society Foundation that explores the cost of non-inclusion of Roma in Slovak society. According to the report social allowances, unemployment and GDP growth (or lack of it) are some of the costs. The study estimates that Slovakia could produce 7-11% higher GDP if Roma were included.
