The Berlin Wall is down for 20 years now, but another one divides the European continent: the " Schengen Wall ", writes Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty. The pill is reportedly particularly bitter to swallow for Russia and the Balkans, where the complex requirements and uncertainty concerning visas delivering could be perceived as humiliating. And in Moldova, it is said to be difficult to obtain EU travel documents by honest means.
