- ‘New Europe’ published an interview with the Council of Europe’s Deputy Secretary General, Maud de Boer-Buquicchio. She has focused on the cause of vulnerable groups in society and began a three-year programme promoting children’s rights and protecting them from violence. She has been actively involved in promoting the Council of Europe Convention on action against trafficking in human beings and campaign to combat violence against women, including domestic violence and works in developing co-operation and coordination between the Council of Europe and other international institutions. In the interview she talks about her work and priorities.
