‘Macau Daily Times’ published the opinion of George Soros on the expulsion of Roma from France. He argues that while stopping criminal activity is a legitimate government concern, ethnicity cannot be used as a proxy for criminality. He also points out that the segregation and poverty of Roma ‘makes a mockery of European values’.
