The ‘Guardian’ presents the movie “In Djambali, the village of giraffes, water is a scarce resource and reserved for the luxurious swimming pool of the lion. A daring giraffe decides to rebel and taps into the forbidden water supply pipe. In consequence, she is deported and forced to start a new life in Mirzapolis, the city of dogs. There are ample water supplies, but she continually faces odd and incomprehensible rules. At first she cannot find work, but one morning she is visited by a friendly gardener in urgent need of her help.” A film from Pascale Hecquert, on show at the Cinemambiente environmental film festival in Turin, Italy.
