UK UNICEF welcomes Government commitment on trafficking

UNICEF welcomed the UK Government’s ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. UNICEF’s website quotes its Policy Parliamentary and Legal officer saying that the ratification marks a significant step towards realising the rights of children victims of trafficking.
