Cyprus Urgent need to integrate migrants

‘Cyprus Mail’ reports of statements made by Jean Zermatten, Vice Chairman of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in an interview with the Cyprus News Agency. He said that the rights of children are quite well protected in Cyprus – and due to the size of the island there was better monitoring. However he pointed out that it was pivotal to integrate children of immigrants and refugees and to raise the awareness of Cypriot society about the rights of migrants and refugees.
