Macedonia Utrinski Vesnik, Macedonia: State unable to cope with child adoption mafia

‘Focus Information Agency’ reports that according to the Macedonian Utrinski Vesnik, there is a child adoption mafia in Macedonia and the state is powerless to cope with it. Labour and Social Policy Minister Spiro Ristovski said that over the last years authorities have found 20 children, who have not been registered in the online adoption list. The children used to stay with foster parents. According to expert’s analyses of the ministries, there are huge lapses in the adoption procedures.
