‘Guardian’ reports that women dying in pregnancy and childbirth in the UK is as low as it was 20 years ago, while other countries like Albania, Poland, Slovakia have improved their numbers and have come ahead. According to a study conducted this may be due to British mothers being older and often obese, increasing risks like heart disease or high blood pressure.
