Romania Successful Event

Comment: The article appeared in the Sports section of Romania’s daily newspaper. It reports on a big scale event in the project MOVE, implemented by Terre des hommes and funded by UEFA. It took place in Craiova on October 3rd with “big success”. Children came from communities of Mofleni, Vartop, Salcuta, Sadova, Cerat, Bailesti and Craiova to participate at different games and sports that develop their psychological and physical skills and abilities.

The author of the short report recognizes quite well how children develop their mental skills through the physical activities and the important role sports are playing in the psychological well-being of children. The fact that the article appeared in the sports section of the newspaper means that people who would otherwise not read about it in the “charity” section, may be exposed to it in this one.
