Comment: According to ‘Infopress’, thanks to a coordinated action of the Kosovo Police, two missing minor girls get another chance. After one week reporting missing, and at high risk of trafficking, the Kosovo police finally rescued the two underage girls and arrested a presumed trafficker. The children have been safely placed back into their families.
Day by day human trafficking occurs. Cooperation and coordination between all the different institutions in different cities proves that trafficking of human beings can be fought. The creation of specific task forces under TACT project is one of the key elements of Tdh prevention and child protection programs. Tdh works everyday with children at risk of exploitation and trafficking. Through family visits, through psycho-social activities, through campaigns, Tdh reaches its goals to make children and their families self-aware on the risks of exploitation.
